Christopher Robert Evans is a popular American actor. He began his career with roles in television series, like Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Evans gained fame for his portrayal of his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in further film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American.
